So wrong...and yet so funny

So there was a news story about a guy who took his dead cat and turned it into a helicopter.  Seriously.  The cat was run over by a car and his owner decided the "ultimate tribute" would be to stuff him and transform him into a helicopter:

So...yeah.  Now, for any of you that watch "The Big Bang Theory", there is a song that Sheldon wants sung to him in order to soothe his poor, genius brow.  That song is called "Soft Kitty" and goes:

"Soft kitty, warm kitty

Little ball of fur

Happy kitty, sleepy kitty

Purr, purr, purr."

My husband has forwarded me the Helo-cat version:

"Dead kitty, cold kitty

Former ball of fur

Stuffed kitty, flying kitty

Whirr, whirr, whirr."

Don't mind me.  I'll be over here crawling into this handbasket...

What?

Done!

Another semester towards the MPA is crossed off the list. Thank God that Research Methods is now over because I was about to strangle myself with my own paper/project. The topic (sexual assault in the military) is something I'm going to be continuing to investigate throughout my other classes. I would like to use it as my Capstone thesis but word is they are changing Capstone around to where individual theses will no longer be the thing. Grrrr. Hope not.

Summer classes start next month - Network Management and Managing Public Disputes.  Fall semester will be Pub Org Theory and Pub Finance Administration.  If I refrain from strangling myself with any future papers or projects, I will be over halfway done with my Master's at the end of the Fall semester.

Have also almost finished knitting Emery's blanket.  This is it in progress:

I'm not sure why the black chair turned green in the pic.  Huh.  The blanket itself is a slightly darker purple than what is showing.  So far, it's six skeins of Vintage Chunky (color 6183 IIRC).  I have a skein and a half to go and it will be done.

(I've added cabled skullcaps as a side project.  Don't ask me why.  I also started knitting the first one in alpaca because I managed to block out how much that stuff *frays*).

Other than that, still alive...still breathing.  Waiting for new books to come out so I can have fun things to read!
